cVEND PIN
cVEND PIN terminals are highly integrated and powerful payment terminals that combine a high-resolution color display, a contactless reader and PIN entry in a compact housing. As a special feature, it offers a vandal-proof stainless steel PIN pad in full size with haptic feedback for secure, barrier-free PIN entry.
Six additional buttons allow convenient confirmations and corrections while enabling the the configuration of the terminal. In addition to LAN and several RS232 and USB interfaces, the terminal has a standard MDB connection for power supply and operation in vending machines.
The FEIG cVEND PIN is the first machine terminal to be approved for solo operation without a chip card or magnetic stripe reader. It supports the new “Tap & PIN” process for purely contactless payments over 50 euros.
An optional hybrid card reader for chip cards and magnetic strips is also available for all cVEND PIN models.
flex
With flex, the cVEND payment terminal can be integrated individually. Two variants are available for this purpose: flex I contains a fully configured payment operating system - without level 2 kernel or level 3 host applications. This allows customers to implement their own kernels and level 3 applications. This enables secure closed-loop and public transport eTicket applications. Migration to open-loop payment is possible at any time.
In addition to the flex I options, the variant flex II includes a certified Level 2 kernel for VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, RuPay, Union Pay and the kernel of the German girocard.
Customers can integrate these ready-certified kernels into their own payment applications and thus significantly reduce the development and approval effort.
FEIG provides SDKs including the required development tools.
